Shocking news that four Malaysian Paralympian cyclists and their coach were involved in a hit-and-run accident earlier today while training along the Latar Highway near Batu Arang, outside of Kuala Lumpur.
The Star reports that National cycling coach Johari Nayan was training with his cycling team of Mohd Nor Rizuan Zainal, 31, Khairul Azwan Wahab, 25, Nur Syafiq Suhaimy, 19, and Khairul Nizam Mohd Ali, 23, when a four-wheel drive vehicle rammed into them at about 10:50am on Thursday.
The driver did not stop, and left the scene of the accident.
They are currently trying to track down the driver, and are appealing to anyone who may have knowledge about the incident.
Facebook user Syed Mubarak Ali posted harrowing photos from the scene, and they have already been shared over 3,000 times.
Hopefully they find the coward that did this.
