Barely two days after hundreds of commuters were left stranded due to a power trip which rendered its trains useless, RapidKL LRT services were reportedly disrupted yet again on Friday morning.
In a tweet sent out at 7am from its official Twitter account, RapidKL said its train service along the Kelana Jaya line had experienced a “technical glitch” after a downpour early in the morning.
By 8am, RapidKL tweeted that its train service had returned to normal:
However, commuters still reported slow trains and packed stations at around 8.30am.
The commuters also complained that the trains were stopping for a longer period of time at each station, causing further delays.
As usual, angry commuters didn’t hold back any punches as they took to their social media page to vent their frustrations:
In fact, some commuters even reported that they were forced to leave the train and walk on the tracks — in the rain, no less — when the train reportedly malfunctioned in the middle of nowhere:
