Because, you know, the milk was spilled. Nevermind.
A three-tonne lorry carrying a cargo of milk and water overturned on Kilometer 278.7 of the southbound stretch of the PLUS Highway yesterday morning.
Nilai Fire and Rescue Department operations officer Sharim Simin said his officers received an emergency call at 9.45am, and a team was dispatched to the scene.
“It is believed the lorry skidded and overturned across the third and fourth lanes on the road as the rear right tyre of the lorry had burst. The lorry was heading south from Kuala Lumpur. The driver and a male passenger were in their 30 and 40s.
“Both suffered minor injuries and were sent to Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar Seremban for further treatment. They were helped out of the lorry and assisted by Plus workers before being taken in an ambulance,” he told Bernama.
