There’s good news for all you long distance travellers.
According to The Star Online, KTM Berhad will be increasing the frequency of its Electric Train Service (ETS) for the Kuala Lumpur-Butterworth route starting this week.
From Mondays to Thursdays, there will be 18 trips to Butterworth from Kuala Lumpur and an equal number in the other direction, up from 16 trips previously.
From Fridays to Sundays, there will be 20 trips daily in either direction, up from 18 previously.
The new schedule will take effect on Saturday.
“This is in response to popular demand,” KTMB said in a statement as cited by the news portal.
KTMB also added that ETS tickets can now be purchased up to 60 days in advance.
