The Kuala Lumpur International PhotoAwards is in its 6th year, and still on a quest to unearth the perfect portrait.
With the guiding philosophy of LOOK AT ME, KLPA 2014 is making an open call to photographers all over the world to submit their work to compete in three separate categories: Individual Portraits (Open Theme), Individual Portraits (Theme: ‘Savage and Serene’) and Photostories, which involves storytelling with portraiture-led multimedia or slideshows. Winners of each category stand to win a 1st Prize of USD3500, a trophy, a Pacsafe Camsafe product … and bragging rights over other shooters the world over.
The KLPA site will be accepting submissions from March 1 until April 30. In the meantime, get inspired and check out this video of last year’s finalists:
