Datuk Farid Kamil Zahari, the popular actor-director who was recently arrested for slapping a police officer conveniently (for the arresting officers, at least) in a police station, kicking a civilian, and later testing positive for narcotics, has brazenly accused his fellow KL Gangster co-star Sofi Jikan of “drugging” him.
Drugging with what, you’re asking?!
A ketamine-enriched cup of durian-flavored white coffee? No – sorry, like the best asam laksa – you can only find that in Penang.
Farid is accusing Sofi of drugging him… with weed. We’re guessing those brownies tasted extra fly?
Arriving at the Mutiara Damansara police station to give a statement after he was named as a suspect by Farid, Sofi was subsequently arrested when police found that he too tested positive for marijuana.
Popular tabloid Berita Harian reported that the actor was seen entering a court room earlier this afternoon.
He arrived dressed like this:

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, discontent with being the go-to flag of tiki-torch carrying racists, die-hard Lynyrd Skynrd fans and those who have yet to understand the impact of semiotics, Sofi arrive with half his face covered with the United States Confederate flag.

You know, the one that celebrates slavery and sovereignty of The South. The one that the KKK loves so much.

The one that eventually got taken down by South Carolina, the last state to fly it, after even they had to admit that it pretty much represents racism at this point.

Great choice, buddy.
Speaking to reporters outside Petaling Jaya court, Sofi’s good friend Datuk Shahrul Nizam Yunos told reporter from Berita Harian reminded the public that not all of those who are arrested are guilty of their crimes, and that the accused was “a good and kind-hearted citizen.”
Kind enough … to share some edibles?

In addition to the drug-spiking accusation, Farid also alleged police brutality while in custody. After pleading not guilty to the assault-related charges filed against him on January 16, Farid posted RM12,000 (US$3,000) bail. He was later charged with drug use, and posted bail again to the tune of RM4,000 (US$1,250).
This is starting to sound like a great movie. Keep it going, guys – Coconuts KL is working on the script as we speak.
