A Kedah senior citizen is going through hard times after a mysterious disease gripped his “family jewels” 30 years ago, and has since been causing them to grow year upon year, right up to today.
Abdullah Yunus, 71, told New Straits Times that his testicles began to swell and grow after he fell ill with a high fever decades ago. He described a redness and itchiness that followed his fever. After three months, he could no longer walk with ease.
After undergoing a series of local treatments to no avail, his testicles today are described by local media as being “the size of coconuts.” His doctors at Alor Star Hospital have told him that he must head to Penang for surgery.
However, the father of three lacks the funds and transportation to make the trek to the island state.
He is now appealing to the public for help.
Thus far, no local sources have offered information as to where to donate, but Coconuts will update this story as soon as we know where we can send this poor man our Ringgit.
