Bringing new meaning to the words “conflict of interest” was the video that went viral Sunday night of seven Muar, Johor policemen looking worse for wear with the head honcho of a gambling den, at a karaoke lounge.
The Star has indicated that the individuals involved are believed to be from the Pagoh police station. The video is said to feature an inspector, a corporal, four lance corporals, and a detective corporal. Yikes.
To add insult to injury, two of the alleged men involved work at the Secret Society, Gaming and Vice Division – partying with the very people they are meant to be tasked against. Yikes times two.
Bukit Aman (central police) is now awaiting a full report from the Johor police chief. They have promised a thorough investigation and equitable punishment. All have been transferred out while the investigation into their extra-curricular activities is ongoing.
The eight-second video was uploaded to Facebook, as well as YouTube under the header: “Police personnel entertaining themselves at nightclub with gambling ‘taukeh (boss).”

Also, we would hate to the person filming once they figure out who in the room was behind the camera. Something tells us these guys are not to be messed with.
