High drama at Jalan Haji Hussein yesterday when a love triangle took a violent twist: a jilted lover stabbed his ex-girlfriend’s male friend with a pair of scissors outside the Baitulmal office there.
Just before that, the 46-year-old rammed his car into their motorcycle, The Star Online reports.
It all began when the man bumped into the 38-year-old widow, her five children and her new companion, the portal reported. A heated argument broke out but staff at the Baitulmal office managed to calm them down.
But that’s what they thought. The man — who had lived with the woman for five years — then waited in his car and attacked the pair.
The Star Online quotes KL CID chief Senior Asst Comm Zainuddin Ahmad as saying that the victim was stabbed on the left side of his chest and is now treated at the Kuala Lumpur hospital.
Police are looking for the suspect.
