JDT football team gets private jet from Johor Sultan

The Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) football club can now travel like rock stars!

The 2015 AFC Cup winners were presented with a Gulfstream 550 private jet by none other than the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Sultan Iskandar.

According to a posting on the Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page, the jet – which will be used to fly players and team officials – will be ready for delivery middle next year.

“With this presentation, JDT creates history yet again being the first club in the country to own its own aircraft,” the club said in the posting.

The super successful football club is led by Sultan Ibrahim’s son, the Crown Prince of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.
