Skip the Causeway and hop on a train; you’ll reach Singapore faster than ever before.
Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) has started its Shuttle Tebrau train service that provides for commuters travelling between the Johor Bahru Sentral Station and Woodlands, Singapore.
And the tickets are a steal: just RM5 to get to Woodlands and S$5 back to JB.
KTMB said in a statement, as reported by Bernama, that the service would begin operations from 5.30am from JB Sentral to 11pm from Woodlands, with each trip big enough to accommodate 320 passengers.

Bernama published the following timetable for Shuttle Tebrau:
JB Sentral to Woodlands: 5.30am, 7am, 8.30am, 4pm, 5.30pm, 7pm and 10pm.
Woodlands to JB Sentral: 6.30am, 8am, 9.30am, 5pm, 6.30pm, 8pm and 11pm.
