Police have arrested two salesmen in the bizarre murder of another gentleman, who was killed after sexual intercourse with one of the suspects in Johor, somewhere between December 29 and New Year’s Eve.
Bizarre love triangle? Murderous self-loathing of closeted homosexuality? Humans just acting like garbage again? Police have yet to reveal a motive.
The victim was 30-years old, and had joined one half of the duo at a hotel in Taman Mount Austin. His body was discovered at 7:18am Sunday.
Police initially classified the case as “sudden death” (probably saving a lot of paperwork over the New Year holiday); however, were compelled to reopen the case and declare it murder by strangulation after an autopsy at Hospital Sultan Ismail.
The two suspects were detained today, and CCTV footage revealed that one of the suspects, a 49-year-old man, checked into the hotel at 4:50pm on December 29. Half an hour later, the victim arrived, and police report that they had sexual intercourse (probably not on CCTV).
Later footage shows the second suspect, a 36-year-old, helping the other man carry the victim’s body to another room.
The men are in custody to assist police in their investigations into the pair’s alleged motives.
