A helicopter believed to be carrying several VIPs has reportedly gone missing in Sarawak and a search and rescue mission has been launched.
According to The Star Online, the helicopter was on its way from Betong and Kuching.

Deputy Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Noriah Kasnon (pic) is believed to be among those on board, the portal reports.

Reports say the helicopter had lost contact near Sebuyau.
Prime Minister Najib Razak tweeted his concern: “Deeply concerned about reports of helicopter missing between Betong and Kuching. Search and rescue activated. Let us pray for their safety.”
Department of Civil Aviation director-general Azharuddin Abdul Rahman told Bernama that the helicopter had left Betong at 4.12pm.
