More brands of medication have been added to the list of Goods and Services Tax (GST) zero-rated items.
The Star Online reports that 1,315 more names have been added to the original list of 2,900 medicine brands.
The full list is available on the Customs Department website.
“The additional zero-rated medicines was recently approved following concerns raised by relevant authorities,“ Customs GST Division senior assistant director ll Norazura Hashim was quoted as saying.
