Graphic designer fined for selling porn drawings online

The Sessions Court has fined a graphic designer RM20,000 for “voluntarily uploading pornographic drawings onto the Internet” and selling them to make a profit.

29-year-old Yunus Hasyim Yaakub, who was charged for distributing the pornographic material to a buyer on 13 August last year, pleaded guilty after the charge was read out to him.

According to The Star Online, Deputy Public Prosecutor Mohd Sophian Zakaria said it was a serious offence as it would influence children and teenagers in a bad way.

It was reported that Yunus paid the fine, probably from the money he earned selling ’em drawings.
