Last year’s inaugural Good Vibes Festival held a lot of promise, and organisers Future Sound Asia are chomping at the bit to top themselves. We believe they already have: this year’s lineup has just been announced, and making their way to #GoodVibesFest 2014 will be international headliners Ellie Goulding, Empire of the Sun, Banks, and !!! (that’s Chk Chk Chk, in case you were wondering)!
Obviously, that’s not all. This year’s Good Vibes Festival will also be bringing together the best local and regional musicmakers, from singer-songwriters, DJs to bands. These include Electrico from Singapore, Noh of Hujan’s new project Da Vagabonds, Bittersweet, +2DB, Froya, Dangerdisko, Narmi, Faiq & the Manja Mob, The Cotton Field Scarecrowes, Lapsap, Indiego & Co, Guibooo, YouTube sensation Elizabeth Tan, and oddly enough (that we can’t wait to see it), Kyoto Protocol putting together a DJ set for the festival.
“We’re thrilled to bring the freshest lineup for this year’s festival to the Malaysian audience. Live music has always been a great way to gather people from different backgrounds. Hopefully Good Vibes Festival will help turn strangers and neighbours into friends and encourage lots of people to get involved in music,” said FSA Director Ben Law.
Tickets for Good Vibes Festival 2014 will be sold in four phases, with limited Phase 1 tickets going for RM108. As is customary for music festivals, ticket prices are going to increase the closer you get to event day (tickets at Phases 2, 3 and 4 will be priced RM138, RM168 and RM198 respectively), so it’s best you get your pass now – they’re now available (and will only be available) at www.boxtix.asia.
