Good Samaritan rams car into snatch thieves’ motorcycle

Two suspected snatch thieves got what they deserved when a Good Samaritan rammed his car into their motorcycle while they were trying to escape.

According to The New Straits Times, the two snatch thieves had earlier allegedly snatched a woman’s handbag at a restaurant in Taman Guru in Seremban and was getting away on a motorcycle when the Good Samaritan sprang into action.

The man, who was nearby, reportedly witnessed the incident and chased down the suspects in his car.

He then proceeded to ram the criminals down with his car, effectively ending the pursuit.

The two snatch thieves were then apprehended by several workers from the restaurant before being handed over to the police.

Seremban police chief Assistant Commissioner Muhamad Zaki Harun told the daily that the suspects, aged 31 and 32, were using a motorcycle with a fake registration number.

“The duo will be remanded until Sunday under Section 395 for gang robbery,” he was quoted as saying.
