Girl in Taman OUG shooting regains consciousness

The eight-year-old girl who was hit by a stray bullet during a fatal shooting in Taman OUG last week has reportedly regained consciousness.

The Star Online reports that two policewomen paid a visit to the girl at 1.30pm on Monday.

They were reportedly not there to record her statement, according to the news portal.

The policewomen then reportedly left 30 minutes later.

Last Wednesday, the girl’s mother, 32-year-old Datin Renyce Wong Siew Ling, was shot to death at close range by two gunmen on a motorcycle while she was driving her MPV in Taman OUG.

The suspects reportedly fired five shots at the vehicle, one of which hit the woman in the neck.

A stray bullet hit the girl, who was sitting in the passenger seat, and pierced her intestines in nine places.
