Driving down a long and winding road, in one of KL’s most exclusive postcodes late at night, a group of friends got the scare of a lifetime, and it’s enough to make you never want to drive past dark again.
Somewhere between Taman Tasik Perdana and Bukit Tunku, Aswan Yap’s dashcam was able record at faint glow of a figure sitting in the middle of the road. Oh, and his dashboard electronics started to blink and go haywire upon approaching the figure. Gulp. Is it a person, an animal, a set-up, a thing? He backed up and drove out there before any of those questions could be answered.
As soon as it hit social media, many attested to their own super natural experiences, some saying that the figure has been seen in that same position for over 10 years. Others called it a hoax. Yap has offered to show anyone the hours of boring footage that led up to the sighting. Many think it was a botched attempted robbery, and would have been mugged as soon as they stopped. Everyone can agree that it was a good idea to GTFO.
The Bukit Tunku neighbourhood has long been a source for our city’s ghost stories. The empty, dilapidated bungalows that line the meandering roads stare at you from behind overgrown trees and the video below looks like a David Lynch movie. Judge for yourself.
