If you’re in JB, you might want to keep an eye out for the little bug that could, both cute as a button and politically disruptive.
In support of the #BERSIH4 mass gathering on August 29 and 30, intrepid Bersih supporter Thomas Fann has taken to decking out a vintage Volkswagen Beetle in the distinctively Autobot Bersih 2.0 colour of yellow, with a massive BERSIH 4 logo on each side, and a similarly large 4 in red on the hood.
We sure hope he doesn’t run into any roadblocks.
Fann is encouraging like-minded electoral reformists in JB to walk over and take a few selfies with the Bersih Bug, all in the name of spreading the message of clean elections, clean government, the right to dissent, strengthening parliamentary democracy, and saving the Malaysian economy.
No. We really hope dude doesn’t run into any roadblocks.
