A five-year-old boy was seriously injured when a remote-controlled helicopter fell on him at a field at Kampung Lalang, Alor Setar on Saturday.
According to The Star Online, the incident happened at 6.30pm when the boy, Muhammad Ammar Izzudin, was watching villagers fly remote-controlled helicopters at the field.
One of the helicopters reportedly fell on the boy’s head, fracturing his forehead.
The boy was then rushed to the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital and he underwent an operation at 11am on Sunday.
Muhammad Ammar was accompanied by his father, who only wanted to be known as Zamri.
