Former security guard found dead in Kajang flat building

A former security guard was found dead with a head wound on the staircase of a flat building in Bandar Teknologi Kajang yesterday.

The 47-year old victim was seen at around 8.30am yesterday morning walking by himself to the scene of the incident from his home, located in the adjacent flat block.

A witness identifying himself only as Ganesan, 17, told Sinar Harian that the victim could be seen staggering towards the building with an open head wound.

The wound is believed to have been incurred from a fall.

“He might have wanted to go to an friend’s flat on the third floor,” Ganesan said.

Kajang district police chief ACP Rashid Abdul Wahab confirmed the incident and classified the case as death by misadventure.

The victim’s remains were brought to the Kajang Hospital for post mortem.
