Forgot your planes? KLIA is looking for the owner of three Boeings abandoned at airport

People forget many things — their car keys, glasses, bad memories and sometimes even their Boeings.

Three of them.

Yesterday, Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn Bhd placed an ad — spotted by the Malay Mail Online — in the classified section of The Star newspaper, calling for the owner of three Boeing 747-200F commercial planes left at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to come forward.

The airport operator had been trying to trace the owner of these planes but failed despite having their registration numbers.

“If you fail to collect the aircraft within 14 days of the date of this notice, we reserve the right to sell or to set off any expenses and debt due to us under the said Regulations,” the notice said.

Yeah.

So, if you know someone who knows someone who happens to own three Boeings, here are the descriptions for these planes: an off-white with the registration number TF-ARM parked in KLIA Bay B61; TF-ARN (white) in KLIA Bay B61; and another TF-ARH (also white) in KLIA Bay M3.

To the owner, if you’re reading this, please call the airport operator’s staff, Zainol Mohd Isa at 03-8776 6100.
