Police revealed today that two more suspects had been arrested in connection with the body of a man found in his car last Saturday with stab wounds near Sungai Petani, in the north of the country. Shockingly, one of those currently being held while police look into the case is the victim’s 17-year-old son, who was picked up in Penang yesterday. The other is a 29-year-old male who was taken into custody after he presented himself to a local police headquarters.

Both will be held in remand starting today, with the teenager there for five days and the other man in custody for six. Prosecutors have said that both are wanted in facilitating the case, which has been classified as murder.

Three other men who were picked up earlier this week have also seen their remand extended between five and six days.

A. Muniady, the 41-year-old victim, was found inside a white Nissan Grand Livina at the roadside at 4am Saturday by members of the public. Police believe that his murder may have been in retribution for unpaid debts.
