A fire has reportedly broken out at the Kuala Lumpur library and photos of the incident are being shared via social media.
The Star Online spoke to City Fire and Rescue Department operations director Azizan Ismail who confirmed that the incident at the library, located near Dataran Merdeka, happened some time this morning.
No further details are available as yet. Efforts to put out the fire is ongoing, the portal said.
