Police in Kedah reportedly arrested a man and his two sons, whom they believe to be involved in break-ins at houses in Kampung Pida, Kodiang, Kedah.
Bernama reports that the 47-year-old father and his sons aged 24 and 17 were caught in a police operation, codenamed Ops Pintu, on Wednesday.
Perlis Police Contingent CID chief Supt Azahar Muda was quoted as saying that police found several stolen items in their house, including a lorry, a motorcycle, a television and tools believed to be used for house break-ins worth RM50,000.
“The father was believed to have been indulging in his criminal activities for the past 10 years in Kedah and Perlis, having five criminal records, while the 24-year-old son has nine and the 17-year-old, six. Both of them have tested positive for drugs,” he told Bernama.
It was reported that investigations on the 17-year-old led police to a younger suspect, aged 13, who was arrested and later released on police bail.
