Father of two jailed for pulling ‘Superman’ stunt

Look up in the sky! It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s…an idiot who is going straight to jail.

A father of two and three of his friends who admitted performing ‘Superman’ stunts on their motorcycles were sentenced to four days in jail and fined RM5,000 fine each for riding in a reckless manner, according to The New Straits Times.

Salesman Saddam Husein Zulkifli, 25; lorry attendant Mohd Roslan Fathalaripin, 24; boutique assistant Muhamad Fikri Ahmad Fauzi, 25; and construction labourer Abdul Aziz Abdul Ghani, 21, admitted to committing the offence along Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE) around 5am on Sunday.

Magistrate Noorul Fhaiez Mohd Nayan ordered them to serve the sentence from the date of their arrest, another three months in jail should they fail to pay the fine.

He also suspended their motorcycle licences for two years.

According to court documents, the four of them were intercepted by police conducting an ‘Ops Samseng Jalanan’ patrol along the highway.
