Three people were killed in Kampung Teluk Rhu, Sabak Bernam early today when a fire razed their home just after 3am.
Goh Meng Huat, 70, his daughter and Goh Sim Yen, 34, and her youngest son Tan Jia Wei, seven, were found dead while a Bangladeshi worker, who was employed with the family, escaped with minor injuries, Bernama reports.
“The victims were sleeping and Meng Huat’s wife was working when the incident took place. The family runs a coconut wholesale business,” Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Mohd Sani Harul told the national news agency.
