A woman who was on her way to a dinner outing with her family on Wednesday night was found dead inside her Proton Saga along Jalan Meru on Wednesday night.
The Star Online’s Allison Lai reports that the body of Lim Sok Yi, 30, was discovered with injuries on her neck and face. Her family had reportedly found the car parked by the roadside.
Her older brother told the portal that Sok Yi was never one to to skip an outing like this.
“We could not reach her on her mobile phone. We gathered friends to look for her and found her car parked along Jalan Meru few hours later,” he was quoted as saying.
The car had been engaged in drive gear with the hand brake pulled. The engine was switched off.
North Klang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Shukor Sulong was quoted as saying that the post mortem report confirmed the fact that she had been murdered.
