Netizens the world over lost their minds over the Facebook and Instagram outage that happened earlier today, with Twitter being flooded with frantic messages by users saying they can’t log on to that social media network they aren’t supposed to be using when they’re at work anywway.
Amidst the chaos, Lizard Squad, the group of hackers who just yesterday took down the Malaysia Airlines website, has seemingly claimed responsibility for the worldwide Facebook and Instagram outage, among other online services, via this cryptic tweet:
