The director of the Malaysian Examination Board Dr Na’imah Ishak lodged a police report yesterday on the leaked exam papers for English 014/1 and 014/2 (Paper 1 and 2) for the Primary School Advancement Test (UPSR).
The report was lodged at 7.50pm, at the Putrajaya district police headquarters after an image of a set of questions published in a Malay-language tabloid proved similar to the actual English Language exam paper for this year’s UPSR.
According to Bernama, Putrajaya police chief ACP Abdul Razak Abdul Majid said the case would be investigated under Section 8 of the Official Secrets Act 1972.
Prior to this, Dr Na’imah had already lodged a police report on the leaked exam papers for Science 018, 028, and 038.
Education Minister II Idris Jusoh stated that UPSR candidates this year would have to resit the Science and English papers. He also said that the rumour of the Mathematics paper also having been leaked would be investigated.
