Elizabeth Tan, the homegrown YouTube singing it girl who rose to fame on her acoustic cover of Joe Flizzow’s ‘Havoc’, is back with a cover of Lorde’s ‘Royals’ alongside No Noise Percussion, who despite their name provide a lot of noise for Elizabeth to croon over.
The team-up is in conjunction with Strepsils’ The Right Note singing campaign. We think Elizabeth’s voice is a little bit at odds for a song like this, but she does her best to pull it off, and the No Noise boys certainly pull this cover out of the ho-hum doldrums admirably:
