Nothing good ever happens when you pick a fight after having a few glasses of beer.
A 20-year-old hairstylist from Johor Baru was reportedly stabbed to death following a drunken brawl on Saturday, The Star Online reports.
Johor Baru south OCPD Asst Comm Sulaiman Salleh told the news portal that the incident happened at an outdoor parking lot of a shopping mall in Jalan Ibrahim Sultan, Stulang at around 3.50am.
“Initial investigations revealed that the incident happened after a misunderstanding between the victim and several others, who were all under the influence of alcohol,” he was quoted as saying in a statement cited by the news portal.
According to ACP Sulaiman, the victim was pronounced dead by medical officers at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital two hours later.
The police have reportedly have arrested two men — a 28-year-old air-conditioning technician and a 19-year-old plumber — to facilitate investigations.
ACP Sulaiman added that the technician is wanted by police and he reportedly has three robbery-related criminal records under his name.
“We are still looking for another two men and one woman to assist investigations,” he was further quoted as saying, adding that the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
