Looking for an omnipotent referee to step in and solve your internet woes? Look no further that the newly activated Twitter account of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.

Ironically enough, an organization largely dedicated to policing the veracity of online information only set up their account earlier this month, having previously dealt with complaints via email.
While the account was set-up on July 6, it has only become active in recent days. One imagines that behind the screen is the token office millennial, tasked with all things Y2K, and also restarting the office modem.
Grievances can be tweeted to @MCMCReact, and you can expect interactions like this concerned citizen, who is worried that our telco information is being sold to Nigerian scammers:

The MCMC have suggested that she take action by emailing them more details at their good ‘ol aduanskmm@cmc.gov.my address. Thanks, just the kind of work we were trying to avoid, MCMC.
Another user wants to know if it’s illegal and of MCMC interest that a local pharmacy is selling pill prescriptions without a doctor’s approval.

Yes, it’s illegal (narc), and under the purview of the Ministry of Health.
