The dog shot by arrows is dead of severe tick fever

The canine victim of the arrow shooting in Taman Sinaran, near Balakong, has died of severe tick fever.

The Facebook page of the Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better project posted that the dog, named Brianna, was too weak – and likely too traumatised by the attack on her on Tuesday night – to survive treatment for her fever. 

The MDDB Facebook moderators also had some choice words for the man who shot Brianna with two arrows, and to Brianna’s owners who apparently abandoned her to the streets in her old age:
