A python is probably the last thing you’d expect to see at a restaurant but hey, one did show up at a Seremban eatery.
According to a report by The New Straits Times‘ Nur Aqidah Azizi, diners at the restaurant ran away in a panic when a two-meter python slithered into the eatery at around 8am.
The owner of the restaurant, 44-year-old Lim Chin Foh, told the daily that the snake emerged from an underbush nearby and, cool as a cucumber, slid under the restaurant’s wooden platform.

“The snake’s appearance panicked everyone. However, things calmed down when the snake disappeared.
“I immediately called emergency services for help,” he was quoted as saying.

A Malaysian Civil Defence Department (JPAM) spokesman told NST that five personnel were dispatched to the scene to capture the reptile.
“We opened the wooden platform and dug the drain and rubbish area for an hour to search for the snake. However, it had disappeared by then.
“We’ll have to postpone to operation until it turns up again,” he told the daily.
