Ops Warta is in full swing and one of the first people to face the fire was a dispatch rider who seemed to have rode along with traffic fines of RM5,150 on tow since
Muhammad Muhaimin Wong Zubir Wong found himself at the Kuala Lumpur magistrate’s court yesterday where he was sentenced to 28 days in prison and a fine of up to RM400.
Among his offences were riding without a licence, insurance coverage and a ‘P’ sticker, as well as using an expired road tax, Bernama reports.
Two other motorists were also sent to prison for various other traffic offences as the federal traffic police crackdown on repeat offenders continues.
