Two disabled girls have lodged a police report against their stepfather for allegedly raping them at their home in Besut, Terengganu.
The 12 and 14-year-olds said they were raped several times by the 41-year-old man, the New Straits Times’s Zarina Abdullah reports.
State Criminal Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Abdul Aziz Wan Hamzah was quoted as saying that the girls revealed this disturbing secret after escaping from their house on Wednesday.
“Both victims were sent to Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia in Kubang Kerian where doctors confirmed that both were raped,” he was quoted further.
Police have reportedly arrested the man and placed him under remand for six days.
