Deputy Finance Minister: No RON95 Petrol Price Hike

Hey, that road trip to Songkhla you were planning on taking this weekend? You may proceed. It’s not going to cost you more than you thought it would.

Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan took to his Twitter account last night to quell rumours that there was going to be a further reduction in unleaded RON95 petrol subsidies of 20 sen per litre:

Ahmad Maslan further added that unlike other countries, Malaysia still maintained its subsidised petrol prices. RON95 still stands at RM2.10 per litre. Keep on trucking!
