Decomposed torso bearing stab wounds found near Port Klang

A gruesome discovery was made in Port Klang on Monday afternoon — a decomposed torso bearing slash and stab wounds.

The New Straits Times’s Eunice Au reports that the headless and limbless remains were found at Telok Nipah Jetty by a member of the public at 2.30pm. A police officer on crime rounds was immediately notified.

Speaking to the NST, Klang Selatan police chief ACP Kamarul Zaman Mamat said: “There was a stab wound on the victim’s back that could have resulted in death. Some slash marks were also visible on the neck, and at the stumps where both legs and right arm had been.”

According to the report, police believe the victim may be of Chinese descent or a foreigner from Vietnam or Myanmar. It was also reported that the victim had a tattoo of Buddha on his back.
