A tragic accident of a Johor schoolboy riding his motorbike took an even more appalling turn when a witness to the incident stole the boy’s phone as he lay helpless and dying. The accident occurred at 2pm today.

Facebook user Harry Cyclone uploaded a photograph and explanation of the incident. Detailing that it occurred along Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, outside of a shopping complex, he descried a van hitting the boy.
Concerned citizens quickly came to the boy’s assistance, and one man took the victim’s phone under the pretense of looking for his contact information. Instead, he ran off with his phone, while witnesses looked on in disbelief.
Harry described the scene graphically on a social media post uploaded to the popular community site JB TRACER: Johor Bahru Traffic, Crime & Community Service Report. He wrote that the victim’s head was bleeding profusely along the side of the road.
The boy is believed to be a 16-year-old student from SMK Aminuddin Bakki.
