Datuk Vida goes on a shopping spree and decides to film it. Yes, it’s gold

Shiller of whitening creams that could make you bald, Datuk Seri Hasmiza Othman, aka Dr Vida, aka Datuk Vida, is a woman of multiple titles.

The skin care mogul has managed to accumulate a multi-million-dollar empire selling to a somewhat forgotten, less-urban demographic, despite the fact that her whitening goods have unhealthy amounts of mercury, and may make you bald.

The one-time Kelantan football club owner actually made her team change their colors from red to pink because well … she likes pink and it’s her money. Run, boys, run.

She’s a folk hero. A woman who was a single-parent school teacher, and relied on her resources to build unfathomable wealth.

Just what does she do with that money though? She killed her football sponsorship, so that frees up a couple bucks.

She took those hard-earned ringgit, and walked straight down to Chopard for a little shopping spree. She bought herself a tasteful solitaire diamond that she then gifted to a children’s home, in hope that they can use it to raise funds.

JK! Ramadan is over, and it’s time for a certain divorcee to spend that duit Raya (money given to single people during the Malaysian Eid celebration) in the only way she knows how: buying something pink. And she did the internet a favor and made a video. Watch, shades, handbags … it’s time to let loose from the restraint.

The Chopard watch is valued at RM100,000 (US$23,000). It’s kind of ugly, but we respect her commitment to her aesthetic. The watch for was for her daughter, so much respect for buying your kid bling, but unnecessary goods.

Also in her purchases were some shades and handbags.

Shout out to her little daughter in the background. She looks SUPER pumped to be there. You and me kid.
