The “Datuk Seri” that was at the center of an assault case that involved three RELA (People’s Voluntary Corps) officials was taken to his remand hearing Tuesday, flanked by two bodyguards.
His legal troubles stem from an incident that occurred last Friday, where the man, surrounded by no less than 20 bodyguards, assaulted the RELA men over a parking infraction.
The “Datuk Seri” has been outed across social media as matching the photo of the chairman of Winner Dynasty Group – a self-proclaimed “Dato’ Sri Dr Nicky Liow” on their (since taken down) webpage.

The company’s intent is nebulous. If you can make sense of their “core value and mission” statement below, we would love to hear your thoughts. It sounds a lot like an MLM to us, but hey – what do we know?!

Arriving at Ampang magistrate’s court at 11:00am yesterday, wearing his company’s T-shirt, he was met with a deluge of curious members of the media that his two bodyguards kept at a distance. All refused to give comment, beyond “Justice will prevail.”
The courts have remanded him for four days while they investigate the incident.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has been vocal regarding the incident, initially saying: “I would like to stress that anybody, whether he has a title or not, is bound by the laws in the country. A title doesn’t give one a license to assault another person, especially a uniformed officer.”
Yesterday, he demanded a thorough investigation into claims that the suspect had initially tried to bribe the officers into withdrawing their police report against him.
Instead, the officers filed another complaint, this time for attempting to corrupt their pursuit of justice.
