Customer loses his cool and attacks cashier trying to deal with the CNY rush

The past weekend, millions of Malaysians celebrated the advent of the Chinese New Year, with hopes of a positive, prosperous and abundant year of the dog for themselves and others.

However, one man’s rage seemed to get the best of him, and he preferred to ring in the year by going absolutely mental, and subsequently viral, on a cashier dealing with a deluge of holiday customers at a local mall.

Have a look below. His levels of anger at the slow-moving line are impressive: If you’re wondering what it’s like to watch a human go from 0 to 100 – wonder no more – here it is:

The incident occurred at BBQ Plaza at Aeon shopping mall in Bukit Tinggi, Klang on February 18. During the minute-long video, the suspect, wearing a dark shirt, can be observed getting increasingly agitated, motioning towards the cashier before he cuts the queue, and punches the poor worker in the face over the counter.

Perhaps feeling that there was still unfinished business, the attacker then went behind the counter and threw several more punches before the shocked employee could return a few swings.

Eatery staff and other customers managed to pull the two men apart, and the suspect subsequently fled the scene. The cashier was taken to hospital for out-patient treatment, and filed a police report.

The suspect!

A man purporting to be the brother of the victim uploaded the video to popular Facebook page of grievances, snatch theft CCTVs and bar fights, We Are Malaysians, and asked netizens to help track down the man with hopes that it will lead to his arrest.

The video has since been shared over 12,000 times.

Recognize him? If you’re not gonna turn him in, at least get this guy some anger management therapy. Seems like he might need it.
