Motorists using Jalan Pahang in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday evening had a narrow escape when a crane collapsed onto the road.
According to The Star Online, the crane hit a bus and two cars.
City Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Azizan Ismail told the news portal that the department received a distress call at 7.15pm and a team of firemen were dispatched to the scene.
“Seven firemen from the Setapak fire station were immediately deployed and checks found that there were no casualties,” he was quoted as saying.
Azizan added that the team worked late into the night to remove the crane and due to the incident, there was a major traffic jam.
