There’s more to the story, apparently.
The Star Online has reported that the couple who allegedly sexually assaulted and took nude videos of two female employees used fake identities to rent an apartment to live and do business in.
According to Sentul OCPD Asst Comm R. Munusamy, it was revealed that the couple, Nikkie and Brenda Tan, rented an apartment unit at Fortune Perdana, Kepong, under a false name and MyKad number.
“When we received the report from the two victims, we immediately went to the premises but it was cleared out. We traced the real estate agent involved in renting the place to them and got hold of the contract,” he was quoted as saying.
“When we checked the name and MyKad number listed, we found it to be false.”
The couple, believed to be running an illegal gambling website, has been remanded to facilitate investigations.
They were wanted by the police after two of their female employees lodged a police report claiming that they were assaulted by the couple and several men with an aerosol can and taser gun, before being forced to strip naked and had nude videos taken. They were also accused of stealing RM18,000.
