A couple was killed while their two grandchildren were left seriously injured in a road accident near Kuantan yesterday.
According to Bernama, Aminah Ismail, 68, died on the spot when the Perodua Kancil they were all travelling in crashed head-on with a Pajero at KM10 of Jalan Ibam-Rompin around 6.30pm.
Her husband, Abdul Talib Abdul Rahman, also 68, was driving the car when it crashed. He died at the Muadzam Shah Hospital in Rompin, Bernama reports.
The couple’s grandchildren, aged nine and 15 have been hospitalised.
