Alicia Amin, who has gained fame as an outspoken contestant on Asia’s Next Top Model, occasional vlogger, recent star of TV3 drama, and all around badass when it comes to speaking her mind and just living her life, has had her fair share of internet trolls.
If they’re legitimately not taking time out of their super-busy days by sending her death threats over a beach photoshoot (Alicia is Malay and Muslim), then they’re taking the time to create a fake profile posing as the young model’s father.

The fake account, professing to be Dr. Raja Amin, renowned heart surgeon, tweeted at national broadcasters TV3 and RTM, Astro cable and productions, and JAKIM (Malaysia’s Islamic Affairs bureau), asking them to ban his daughter from Malaysian TV. Why? Oh, you know, because she posted a picture to an Instagram account of herself on the beach, something that in no way violates the site’s guidelines, but obviously offended someone with nothing better to do than follow an account of a person they clearly don’t like.

Feel free to read for yourself their grammatically incorrect tweet. Honestly, these bozos can’t even get it together long-enough to write something that isn’t riddled with errors.

Yep, people are out there with lives so empty, yet a bag of judgments so full, that they are making profiles of a model’s dad because they … Well, we’re not quite sure what could possess anyone to do something so pathetic.
We’re willing to wager they may be a few bricks shy of a load, lack the faculties to make rational judgement, but have just enough wherewithal to open a Twitter account.
To her credit, Amin has come out swinging, complaining to the micro-blogging site of the impersonation and slander, while also stating via Instagram that she will encourage her father to pursue the full extent of the law.

We’re not lawyers, but seems like she might have a case under Section 233 (1) (a) of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, which criminalizes the intentional creation and transmission of derogatory communications material to hurt another.
As for Amin, she has one message to the trolls: Watch your back.
