Controversial ‘Gang Bang JB Party’ sparks outrage in Johor

Johor State’s Islamic Religious Affairs Committee Chairman, Mohd Fared Mohd Khalid, has issued a strong caution against organizing any programs or events that promote immoral behavior within the state.

Taking to his official Facebook page, Mohd Fared not only urged the public to cooperate in preventing such activities from occurring in Johor but also warned against their endorsement.

The move comes in response to the circulation of a poster on social media advertising an event called the ‘Gang Bang JB Party,’ purportedly scheduled to take place on June 20, 2023, from 4pm to 9pm.

Screenshots of the event’s poster, believed to have been shared on Twitter along with several replies to the tweet, were shared by the Johor State Exco.

According to the poster, the organizers claim that the event is “open to all races” but requires participants to be free from diseases and drugs. Furthermore, the poster explicitly states that photos or videos are prohibited.

“Don’t attempt to engage in inappropriate behavior in Johor or encourage others to commit flagrant immoral activities. Consider this a warning!” Mohd Fared sternly expressed.

He further added, “For the sake of God, I will not tolerate such occurrences in Johor. It is everyone’s responsibility to prevent and put a stop to such immoral activities.”

Additionally, the Johor Exco disclosed that he has instructed the Johor Islamic Religious Department (JAINJ) to promptly intervene and launch an investigation into the event.
