Hold on to your lunch, folks, because this story is about to get a bit gross

A woman by the name of Mimie Rahman recently stumbled upon a little surprise while minding her own business outside her condo unit in Petaling Jaya.

And no, it wasn’t a surprise party or a bouquet of flowers – it was a used condom, of all things.

That’s right, some Romeo or Juliet had decided to toss their little love glove right onto one of Mimie’s plants. Classy move, right?

“Trigger warning: used condom. A sincere word of advice to all the kids out there. Please don’t go throwing condoms from the window if you reside in a condo or apartment,” her tweet read.

“It fell on this tree and thankfully I can put it into a plastic (bag) without using my hands. But if it falls on my air conditioning compressor instead, who is going to pick it up?” she said.

“I don’t know why the colour of the condom is like that. Why would I need to pick up your dead kids?!”

Now, you might be thinking, “Well, at least it didn’t land on the ground or something.” But unfortunately, it gets worse.

This condom of mystery had landed on an ajinomoto tree, which is a type of plant whose leaves can be used for cooking. So not only was it a disgusting health hazard, but it also ruined a perfectly good cooking ingredient. Talk about insult to injury.

“Now I have to spray water all over this tree for no reason. If it was merely for decorative purposes, I’m still okay with it. But I want to use the leaves for my meals!” she ranted.

Mimie was understandably horrified by the whole ordeal and took to Twitter to share her disgust with the world. And wouldn’t you know it, her tweet went viral, racking up almost a million views.

But in all seriousness, let’s take a moment to reflect on the true danger of this situation.

As one Twitter user pointed out, if that condom had landed on the air conditioning compressor instead of the tree, it could have impregnated everyone in the unit – because science, right?

Next time you’re feeling frisky and decide to toss your love glove out the window, just remember, you never know where it might end up.
